Salm formerly known as Bay bi bouy Salm is set to release his first ever gospel song on Sunday, 10th November 2013.
The song titled “Give myself away” is originally sang by William McDowell and talks about Salm’s readiness to offer and give his life to God after declaring he was no longer going to do secular music.
In the song,he talks about how unfair he has been to God and showed remorse for all his actions. “It is true the world is changing and it is changing because the people in it are changing” he said. The song which was played Live is produced by an English based producer; Tyler Stannard and mixed by Mr Vacs of M haus music in Ghana.
Salm revealed in an interview that, the reason for the song, is to make it very official to the world that he has really made up his mind to give God what He solely deserves. He added that he was never going back to secular music and his “unacceptable” way of life. He believes that, it is also a platform for all those who are willing to give up on things of the world and a decision making time to people who are yet to decide.
Though converted, Salm assured fans that, his switch from secular to gospel music is not going to change his style and delivery.
“We live on earth and decide what should happen in it; we choose who to reign. I have pledged my vote for God and if we all do the same everyone will be affected. Let’s make God reign” he said as he asked for support and prayers from everyone who loves good “urban gospel”.
